All African Romance™ diamonds come from mines that practice environmental sustainability and rehabilitation.

Our partner mines are alluvial projects. After surveying the land, our mining partners remove and stockpile topsoil to reach the diamondiferous gravels. When mining is complete the gravels are returned in-situ. The topsoil is then returned over the gravels and the land is rehabilitated to allow for the growth of natural vegetation and for farming.

We try to protect the little we have for our future generations. You can help by insisting that your diamond is sourced from conflict free, environmentally sustainable and socially responsible mines
